Here you'll find audio samples of the different versions of Glass Mask anime and OVA in different languages. Right now we have the japanese 2005 and italian old anime versions. We will add other languages such as Spanish, Chinese or French soon as well as other character's samples.  To hear the samples click the little ♪

JAPANESE

·Anime 2005

-Maya: There's nothing I can do about these feelings of mine. Just thinking about a play makes my body got hot. My grades aren't particularly good. I don't have the money to go to Theatre School, either. But there's nothing I can do about these feelings.  ♪

-Tsukikage: She has memorized the lines of the three and a half hour play, word by word, without any mistakes. Everything right down to the little details of the performer's poses has been copied perfectly by her. She's amazing! That child is amazing! That child...Kitajima Maya.  ♪

-Ayumi: But Tsukikage-san plans to raise the actress to perform it, right? In that case, until she has raised the actress I don't think she will let go of the rights easily. In five years I'll be 18. That will be adult enough. There will be nothing odd in me playing the Crimson Goddess.  ♪

OVA

-Maya: My first fan! Who could it be? I wonder what kind of person my purple rose admirer is.  ♪

-Masumi: Some time ago they tried to create a blue rose but it didn't work. Then this purple rose was created ♪

-Ayumi: 'Thanks' she said... I thought she would be more nervous since she has to play the same role but...She smiled as if...as if... as if she didn't mind Himekawa Ayumi at all.  ♪

ITALIAN

Anime 80's

-Maya: Then you know Mr. Purple Rose? Tell me where he is, I want to thank him and let him know how much I appreciate his support. He supported me in the hardest moments of my life. My biggest wish is meeting him.   ♪

-Masumi: For you? I can't let our best product be injured. The play has ended, but we still have two extra nights. Have I explained myself clearly?.  ♪

-Tsukikage: Before making up your mind, you have to consider carefully the chances and risks your decision would entail. You must be careful to not make a mistake. Your career is starting, Maya. Although I'm aware the offer is appealing.  ♪

-Ayumi: I don't think you defeated me. I finally understood when I heard the award. I'm glad I played the perfect Helen. Only if your acting had been judged better than mine, I would feel defeated.  ♪

OVA

-Maya: I still can't believe it. My first fan sent me a bunch of purple roses. I'm so touched. I'm really happy to have started acting. ♪

-Masumi: I have seen so many actors in my life but none of them had that girl's passion. She went on stage with a temperature of 104º F. How can a simple girl like her have such a strong passion? ♪

-Tsukikage: None of that will happen! I assure you my school will take part in the acting competition! We'll win the national competition in spite of your dirty tricks. Our skills will be aknowledged by everyobody. ♪

-Ayumi: Hi Maya! I'm really pleased to know we will play the same role for the competition. I'm sure your Midori will be really different from mine, am I wrong? We'll see, I'm quite curious. ♪

FRENCH

We used the original Japanese version dialogues since we can't speak French (and even the character's names were changed in the French version, Ayumi was called Sidonie...^^;;)

Anime 80's

-Maya (she's talking about Ayumi) :She's a genius, but why? To Learn about being a beggar for the Prince and the Pauper...   ♪

-Masumi: Are you looking for Heathcliff, Catherine? You did really well. Passionate and wild Catherine, yes, that was true.. but it was sort of like a little child whose toy was taken away. Not the kind of passionate love for a lover.  ♪

-Tsukikage: As long as the play rights for Kurenai Tennyo remain in my hands, right? Go ahead and take it. As cold and cruel as you are, I'm sure you have many ways, Masumi-san.  ♪

-Ayumi: Maya Kitajima, I won't lose. I was called a genius actress, but I'll prove I have more talent than you do. You may be the candidate for Kurenai Tennyo now, but I'll prove I'm a better actress to Tsukikage-sensei.  ♪

-Sakurakoji:(talking to Maya) I stopped by your apartment and they told me you were here. Here, eat this before it gets cold.  ♪
